Essentially, our voting doesn't really grip our users perception as it relies on percentages a little too much in the wrong way. Whilst this may suit SE it does not suit an ideas centre. We want to have top ideas as ideas that are liked by as many people as possible but not too disliked.

Upvoted by 48 people and downvoted by 2 is more important to implement than upvoted by 27 and downvoted by 0. Whilst I say that do we prefer something upvoted by 75 and downvoted by 25 or something upvoted by 50 but downvoted by 0.
