Automatic Update flags 139 files changed

Currently running stable 3.0.4 phpBB. Downloaded the Automatic Update package for 3.0.5. Read thru the Install and ReadMe guides. Sounded like a no brainer.

Ran the install. I'm told 139 files. I can either ftp update them or download them and manually upload them. I know we didn't modify 139 files. For example one is ADM\index.php. I click View Details on this file and see the only "difference" is the comment line with the @version $Id: information. When I randomly check the other files flagged as changed the only changes are, once again, the @version in the comment line.

The 3.0.5 Automatic Update could not finish as it mistakenly believes there are changed files.

What is wrong with the Automatic Update?
