topic..post time changed by post..post time

UCP..Forum Preferences..Display option.

Regardles of how the Topic Display option is set, the Post Display option overrides this setting.

Scenario:

Topics : Post Time, Descending

Posts: Post Time, Ascending

Every time a reply is made to any topic (ie. topic 318 on page 32 replied to by a user), that topic is now displayed on page one at the top of the list.

Why have a topic display option that does not adhere to its own settings. Perhaps I'm misled by the fact that the topics are being sorted by a post time and not by a topic post time.
