Description

How to reproduce:
Install phpBB, select as database type "MySQL with MySQLi Extension" and misspell the database name.

Debug message:

[phpBB Debug] PHP Warning: in file [ROOT]/includes/functions_install.php on line 303: mysqli_get_server_info(): invalid object or resource mysqli

Error message:

The version of MySQL installed on this machine is incompatible with the “MySQL with MySQLi Extension” option you have selected. Please try the “MySQL” option instead.
