What is the use case for pruning an entire group?

I guess so; would also be confusing to have that be the only option that doesn't work on its own.

It would be nice to just have an ACP module for performing actions on mass numbers of users, with searching by all available fields and sorting and all kinds of goodies for user management, but that's another issue.

The posts awaiting approval option also seems to have the same problem because it's not part of the $where_sql variable. The method returns if this variable is empty to "Protect the admin" while not taking into account these other options. The query that uses the variable should simply not run if it's empty.

The posts awaiting approval option is actually completely broken for two reasons 1) the query never runs: "$result = $db->sql_query($result);" and 2) the query doesn't actually check whether the posts are unapproved.
