When applying "make group default for member", a "Page Not found" error comes up. Here's how I got there:

— Select "Mark All" members

---- Select "Make Group Default For Member" option

----- Click "submit"

----- Click "Yes" in the confirm dialogue

We cannot locate the page you're looking for. Please check the address and make sure all letters are lowercased with no spaces. You may also move to a different page by using the links in the menu bar above.

Rather obtuse, as there is no menu bar on that error page. I used my browser's "Back" button to return, closed ACP, re-opened ACP and tried the same thing on several different groups with the same result.
