Hello,
I don't know whether this is a bug or ig it was deliberately designed that way, but here it is...
When one sets a default group avatar, for instance, a zebra for registered users, one would expect it to act, well, as a default Namely,
- if the user has an avatar set, it remains as it is
- if not, they get the default avatar
- new users get the default avatar ipso facto.
However, it doesn't work that way...
When I set the zebra as default avatar for registered users, after conversion from phpBB2, ALL MY MEMBERS' avatars were replaced by the zebra.
If this is a choice you made, you might want to reconsider it, because most people will be taken aback by this approach. "Default" never ever meant "enforced replacement in batch mode".
( Oh, and replacing the existing "default avatar" of a group seems to just destroy the users' avatars. I only tested this once so maybe it was something else. )
If it is, as I suspect, a bug, then well, good luck
