      Hi,

I am a user at https://debianforum.de. We use phpBB and are very happy with it. Unfortunately, since the upgrade to version 3.3.13, the search for user posts no longer works correctly. The latest posts are missing.

The effect occurs when you click on the post counter of a user under the avatar picture next to the post, or when you search for a user in the advanced search. However, the search works correctly as soon as you limit the time period. The search also works correctly if you only search individual sub-forums. Only if you do an unlimited search for all posts by a user, the most recent posts are missing. Example: search.php?author_id=13014&sr=posts

If you search for some users, the last two days are missing, for others only the last day is missing. For still others, the latest posts are also found (example: search.php?author_id=23574&sr=posts). The effects are identical, no matter which user starts the search. (Only moderators see posts in hidden sub-forums, of course, but the effect is the same).

With the upgrade to phpBB version 3.3.14 the search worked correctly again for a short time, but now the latest posts no longer appear for some users. The search results are frozen.

So far, our research has not uncovered any other such problems in other forums. To our knowledge our setup is standard. We use a vanilla phpBB and MySQL Fulltext as search backend.

Here is some more information (it's a German forum, so it's in German, but we can translate if needed):
