As discussed in http://area51.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?f=108&t=42767 styles should be using the same metadata as extensions. Metadata for extensions will be stored in composer.json files: http://area51.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?f=84&t=42567 and http://tracker.phpbb.com/browse/PHPBB3-10817
