MCP is too confusing and too complicated!

If you try to merge two topics and you go to the mcp --> main --> view forum. The first though is: mark the topic, select in the pulldown menu: merge --> submit.

But it doesnt work that easy. You have to mark only one topic, then select "merge" and press "submit". After that you can click on "select for merge". Isnt that unlogical or too complicated? I think so.

My idea: let change it to the "mark the merging topics and submit". Would be quiet easy to handle.

      2nd thought:
The MCP-Option for "view topic": merge posts. Gives the impression that you can combine two posts to one post, in the same topic!
But you can only move these posts into an other topic.

idea: change the name to "move posts" and add a function which "merge" two posts into one post.

Would be nice, if you would discuss those ideas.

      Regards
