      Description

I have downloaded phpBB 3.0.7 on a fresh install and have no mods or any custom settings.

When creating/editing forum I have noticed that I can't set a Parent forum. The only one that is in the dropdown menu is the default "Your first category".

The issue is marked fixed but I do not see a fix.

If it is indeed fixed please link to the fix.

Use case for the desired behavior:

It sucks because now I have to do my permission whilst doing my forums which takes longer... Before I could setup all my forums first then worry about permissions later.

The fix has probably been submitted into SVN. I agree with narqelion that revision r10427 is problematic and probably causes regressions that have not been reported yet. Please think about reverting it.

This fix has been merged. I guess the status got lost somewhere in the tracker conversion.

You may find this problem still exists in phpBB version 3.0.10, a new issue tracker was raised...
