      Description

There is no code in place to display custom profile fields in private messages. The rest of the profile is displayed here correctly so it seems to me that custom profile fields should as well.
Attached a patch to enable this.

On the Custom Profile Field Setting, we have an option:

          Display on viewtopic screen:
If this option is enabled, the field will be displayed in the mini-profile on the topic screen.

Should we use the field_show_on_vt Field aswell and extend the description, or shall we add another field?

I'd say an other field. A user might not want to display the fields on a PM, in which case he should have the choice to do so without the need of modifying the templates.

Adding a new field would mean we push it back to 3.1

I don't think that, that would be much of an issue. I haven't seen any real complains about this in the support forums so 3.1 seem a good place to insert this.
