Boolean Custom User Fields

I've created a custom user field, as a boolean,
Display profile field is set to Yes
Visibility Option set to Hide profile field
Entries set to Yes and No
Profile type set to Checkbox
default is un-ticked (but it always defaults back to true when re-editting)

I set a user, so that the new custom field is checked in their profile,
but when looking at any posts they have made, in the mini-profile to the right of
the post the custom field is displayed as No against the user field name description,
if i set the option in the user profile to unchecked it doesn't display the
user field name.

This is RC1, and a converted database, running on my localpc using XAMPP
