You cannot quote part of text with iOS/iPadOS browsers

Someone posting uses the TOPIC REVIEW area and selects a subset of a post's text and then clicks on the quote button.

Instead of just quoting the selected text the whole post text is quoted.

Happens with Safari, Edge and Chrome browsers on iOS and iPadOS.

I cannot be certain however the behaviour changed around iOS/iPadOS Version 16.
