Unable to Upload Attachments

Attempted to upload an mp3 file to a post.  Each time - the editor reminds me of the file limit

and does not upload the file, although the limit has been set well above the file size in ACP,

and all allowances have been made for this type of file.

We have tried uploading in all browsers - with the same result  (no attachment upload possible)
