Topic reply notification issue

When someone gets an notification about new topic created in subscribed forum or about a reply to his topic the notification seem to be broken. You don't get an option to check it as read and it doesn't get the class (bg2) for styling assigned to it (see attached pic.) This doesn't happen in the 3.2.2 version
