'COOKIE_PATH_EXPLAIN' does not make sense

We have at the moment following explaination to the Cookie-Path:

'COOKIE_PATH_EXPLAIN' => 'Note that this is always a slash, it does not matter what your board URL is.',

This does not make sense, if the user should always fill in "/", why should there be a input-field for him? Additionally, what is when the board is in /community/, should he always set a globally validate cookie? Why?
