At the moment phpBB 3.2.0 uses Font Awesome in Version 4.4.0.
The latest release of Font Awesome Icons is 4.7.0. I think we should update it with the next release, so make it possible for ext-authors to use the new icons, which were introduced since 4.4.0.
Afaik there are not BC, so they did not remove icons.
