Post submit issue

I have a forum running for the president of my association and recently the system has started developing error with submitting a new post. When the post is submitted, the page keeps loading both for the post and/or reply to the post. Post has been posted/entry made in the database , but the page does not reload or migrate to the view page. Earlier every member of the particular group used to get an email on new post. Now no one gets any email. Tested for another forum, same issue.
