Support playing audio files directly in the browser

I administer a site where we use phpBB for storing shared recordings, among other things. However, users with desktop browsers have to download audio files to play them. I've managed to implement basic playback using the ‘audio’ tag in the browser and it works well for MP3 files. The only thing I'm missing is migration scripting.

Is this something you'd be interested in?

(iOS cannot play MP4 files through phpBB, and using the audio tag that also applies to OS X and Safari. I've been unable to figure out why.)
