Description
phpBB uses in some template files language variable
{L_POST_BY_AUTHOR} ("by" in English).It is not problem if it is used on its own, but in some template files it is used with other language variables. Here is few examples from phpBB 3.1.8:
in file mcp_forum.html on line 56: {L_LAST_POST} {L_POST_BY_AUTHOR}
in file mcp_front.html on line 34:
{L_POSTED}{L_POST_BY_AUTHOR}
and on line 94: {L_REPORTED} {L_POST_BY_AUTHOR}
in file mcp_forum.html on line 83: <dfn>
{L_LAST_POST} </dfn>{L_POST_BY_AUTHOR}Unfortunately in my language (Czech) we can't translate English word "by" as one word, because translation depends on content of sentence. It means that we need to use different translation for each {L_POST_BY_AUTHOR}.
I would like to ask if would be possible to change those multiple language strings to one string. For example {L_LAST_POST}
{L_POST_BY_AUTHOR}
would become
{L_LAST_POST_BY}or something similar.
