The extension finder keeps state, so should be instantiated on each container request, not reset manually

The ext.finder service should probably be moved to scope: prototype to be instantiated whenever retrieved, because each instance keeps state relevant only to its current usage. There should not be a manual reset process required to make sure previous uses of the service do not affect the current one.
