      Description

The user interface for downloading all posts or all topics needs further improvements. Right now it just doesn't look right (see screenshot). Maybe the download all features could be hidden behind some dropdown somewhere. Could even use JavaScript because this is a rather optional feature.

My suggestion would be to consolidate the other topic options into a dropdown. Moving the download all link alongside these other links doesn't work as that would just clutter up the bar. On smaller widths (such as phpBB.com), moving the link there also causes the links on the right side to jump down into a second line. The dropdown could be shown with CSS for those with JS disabled? Clicking on "Download all attachments" would display the choice of archive types. I've attached some mock ups of how this would look.

I like the idea of a dropdown menu, however I would expect it to be at the top of the site

Based on the screenshots it looks nice. I think that now that it's a little icon with a menu we can do what Joas said and add it next to the Post Reply button at the top of the page while keeping it at the bottom, so that it's consistent.

As for the Download attachments link, would it be possible to use the "topic_tools.png" version and make the Download all attachments link open a second menu with archive types? If not or that will be too much work, the "topic_tools2.png" version will be fine with me.
