I think this is almost identical to another bug report I read. I can't find that report though. When I clicked on 'view active topics' from the index then clicked to read the announcement then clicked to post a reply, I get this message.

You are not able to do posting operations on this forum due to the forum type not supporting it.

The other bug report I saw gave the same message when replying to globals except they accessed it through the search page.
