Add user IP address to log when installing extensions on fresh installs

XMLWordPrintable

I noticed that when you install a brand new, fresh out the box version of phpBB, you should in theory have the VigLink extension included in the package which is automatically installed during the installation process of the board.

However I noticed that three logs are created inside the Admin Logs section of the ACP. These logs are:

      • Installed phpBB by the newly created admin user with their IP address
      • Installed phpbb/viglink extension by Anonymous with NO IP address recorded
      • Installed the VigLink ACP settings module by Anonymous with their IP address

So when the VigLink extension is installed, the IP address of the user is not being recorded.

It's recorded for the other two logs that are collected. It seems silly to not record it for completeness of data but I also admit that it makes pretty much no difference it not being there and most admins may even delete that log to clear space.

Either way, it should be there if it's possible to record it and is recorded in the other logs.
