Date profile field validation incorrect

Date profile fields validation is incorrect.
The value is checked for a date ranging from 1901 to today plus 50 years, while the input selector allows for dates ranging from today minus 100 years to today plus 100 years.
So, it is impossible to select certain valid years, and it is possible to select years that will never validate.
Both ranges should be coherent.
