      Hello,
      there is a PHP bug for gethostbyname : https://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=12802

      I think several people have problems problem cause by this missing timeout agument. Sending EMail, dnsmx check (user registration), ...

      Perhaps somebody has a good idea for a workaround?
