I have a little forum that is of no use for people outside of my city or its surroundings, moreover, since it's in German, I don't really expect much visits from non German speaking countries at all. Even though I use re-captcha for the user registration, I have to deal with spammers creating accounts each couple of days, which are very easy to spot given the locality of the forum.

I think a useful addition would be to notify via Jabber when some events (in my case user registration) occur. In this way I could relax and delete the spamming accounts "on demand".
